Log meals with your assistant

Enshape by Chase Cargill connects your personal food diary to compatible assistants through a secure hosted MCP connection. Ask your assistant to log a meal, reuse nutrition from recent foods, or read your day.

Connect your account

  1. For Claude, select Enshape in the connector directory. For other compatible assistants, add https://enshapeapp.com/mcp as a remote MCP server in custom connector settings.
  2. Sign into Enshape in the authorization window. Check the account and requested diary permissions, then approve the connection.
  3. Ask your assistant to log your meal with its portions, nutrition, meal slot and local date. Approve any estimated nutrition before saving.
  4. Open your Enshape diary to check the result. Entries also appear in the mobile app.

Claude and compatible Codex clients can use remote MCP connections. Gemini offers custom apps to eligible accounts; availability depends on your region, account and current Google rollout. Mobile support varies by assistant. Enshape is published in the official MCP Registry. Enshape is published as a community connector in Claude's directory. OpenAI directory submission is still being prepared.

Use your own assistant account

Each person connects their own Enshape account from their preferred assistant. This connection does not use the developer's personal agent account or make paid model API calls. Your assistant provider's plan and usage rules apply. Enshape limits requests to keep the hosted connection reliable.

Assistant allowances

Free Enshape accounts include 20 diary tool calls per day, shared across every connected assistant. Each read, recent-food lookup, or meal-save attempt uses one call; retries also use a call. Connection setup does not use this allowance. Premium has a higher allowance, with an overall cap of 600 assistant requests per day. Allowances reset at midnight UTC. You control access

Your diary stays private. Connections use account sign-in, explicit permission, PKCE and scoped credentials. Assistant logging saves to your personal diary and does not publish to the shared food catalog. Disconnect access in Assistant connections. Assistant providers process the data you share under their own policies.
